The gist of it is: I opened a file I shouldn’t have and got a trojan. I used Spybot and PC Defender to get rid of it, and apparently it was gone so I decided to reboot my computer.
I get the Blue Screen every time I run in Normal mode. I don’t even have to do anything. It’ll just go to the blue screen.
I can use safe mode, and I’ve gotten a lot of awesome suggestions that I would love to try except for the fact you basically can’t do anything useful in safe mode.
Every time I boot in normal mode I get the “system32\ssqOGvwv.dll module is missing,” and I’m wondering if that is why I keep getting the blue screen, or if it is just a byproduct of the trojan.
So please help me out. I’m eager to suggestions that don’t involve reinstalling Vista or require me to perform something that can’t be done in safe mode.
Is the trojan still there? Or what is wrong with my poor computer?
Help greatly appreciated. I’ve been doing my research and I’m stumped. ._.
Thanks, but System restore didn't work. D':
I can't run anything from a disk in safe mode–any programs, at least. Windows Installer does not work in safe mode.
I don't really have the means to back up my files either. ;___;
Thanks for the suggestion.

OK this will work if you have xp or higher (sorry if you got a mac OS)
when in safe mode go to start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore, and then restore it back to a long time ago like the day it was made
well no you don’t have to but you might have had that virus for a LONG time and just now has it awoken so yeah. or you could boot up from a disk like ubuntu. then you could put your wanted files onto a flash drive or something then erase ur hard drive. : ^
