My bro’s laptop is infected with antivirus 2009. im on it now . mozilla firefox is slow and wont load. I.E. is being used by the virus to bring up random advertisements. right now im usin safari (lucky i have it =]) .
most people tell me to open the task manager first to get rid of antivirus 2009 then click the processes tab. ( if u have a better manual way please tell me!!!!) the only problem is i cant open task manger. it says it has been blocked by my adminastrater. when i right click the task bar task manager is not highlighted and is unclickable. ctrl alt delete brings me to a novell screen and task manager isn’t highlighted there either!!! when i go to run in the start menu and type in taskmgr it says its blocked by the administrator. how in the world do i bring it back?!!?!? please help?!!?

Download and run MBAM from http://www.malwarebytes.org, then antivir from http://www.avira.com.
Run them both (not at the same time), and tell them to delete whatever they find. People have been having success rooting it out with these 2.
