I have AVG 8.0 Free as my main antivirus for XP Pro, i actually still like it, but when i double click the AVG Icon on my system tray, i always see that annoying Notification on the bottom:

AVG Free Edition provides you with good basic protection.
Upgrade to AVG Internet Security for complete real-time
protection against all online threats.]
now when i hide that annoying notification, and close AVG, and reopne it, that annoying Notification keeps appearing on the bottom, i know its stupid, but does that happen to you?

Yes it happened to me. I tried out avg and i didn't like it one bit, IT felt like it was slowing my computer down and when ever i read that advertisement thing I felt like my computer was less protected or something. I switched back to avast as soon as possible and i am never switching back

i just use the shortcut from the desktop and never get it and i am useing the 90 day free trial pro—
