that is free? the Norton 360 expiration notification keeps popping up to tell me to renew it, but its like 40$ , do i have to pay for it to protect my pc? its a Toshiba lap top, with windows vista.
Plz help.. im not the most tech-savey person out there.

Most all good anti-virus software is pay to use.
Norton, McAfee, BitDefender
There are free-ware programs out there, AVG, but I don't think they worth dealing with.

bummer, Webroot is only $29 and works very well, free ones, Humm…
sometimes not such a good idea, depending on what you use your pc for, but for goofing off, theres a ton of freebies out there, just be careful, some of those downloads are worse than the thing your trying to protect yourself from
