Defender. Anyways I downloaded a program called AntiSpyware (it has an blu icon shaped like a diamond) I ran my AVG and sure enough there was the Trojan horse virus. The problem is; when I ran my YAHOO AntiApy, it detected this AntiSpyware as a rogue security….but it's been working. It even reminds me that it's working. And this program has not asked me for any money or to buy anything.
Is anyone familiar with this program? I trust YAHOO, but this program has been working.
http://www.antispyware.com/. This is the web site. If it's legit, why is YAHOO Anti-Spy saying it's rogue security?

Wow, are you certain it is a good idea to have so many programs? My system usually runs as though it has a virus once all those things start fighting wars with each other.

It is a scam….it is trying to annoy you until you buy it.
"IE Defender is a rogue antispyware utility that uses false positives to lure the user into buying the product. It also plants the malware it attempts to detect."

I can't answer your question but, I can tell you that you need to upgrade to AVG 8.0! They will stop supporting 7.5 soon.
