There is a new version of pc tools antivirus. Is this one better than avast home?

I recently checked on www.pctools.com and found out that their antivirus has a new version. I would like to know if this new version is better than avast. thanks!

      If your referring to PC tools antivirus free edition then i wouldn’t recommend it. Downloaded and installed the latest version a few days ago. It completely drained my ram and resources and was slow as anything. When i ran a full virus scan id left it for 3 hours and it wasn’t even half done.

      I deleted it and was happy again.

      Might work fine for you I’m not sure, but I’m sticking to my avast.

      when compared to PC tools anti virus avast home is better…but i would always recommend Kasper sky anti virus 2010 as it is helpful
