This application has failed to start because xlive.dll was not found?

I have downloaded and installed Dawn of War 2 beta off Steam.com and i keep getting this Error every time i try to launch the game can anyone help me?
ok i did that and now it has new error:

The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\xlive.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

Whats this mean? and how do i fix this xlive problem?

      Look like you can get a copy of the dll here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?xlive.

      Put it in your c:\windows folder.

      If this is a beta you are using then it probably means they forgot to include it in the install. If you go to their web site you may find it there also as a patch.
