Alright, so I need to Uninstall Norton. But it won’t let me.
I go into add/remove programs and click uninstall, and then nothing happens.
And apparently ThreatFire is a good program, is it legit?

Threatfire IS a good and legit program, but it is best to use it in addition to a traditional anti-virus program (like Norton), to detect new and emerging malware.
I would not use Threatfire alone. It is not a comphrehensive solution.

ThreatFire is unlike traditional antivirus products that rely on old fashioned “signature” technology and require updating every time a new threat occurs. ThreatFire’s patent-pending ActiveDefense technology provides powerful protection against zero-day and emerging threats. It constantly monitors for both known and unknown viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, buffer overflows, spyware, adware and other malware. It uses behavioral analysis to hunt down and paralyze threats that are too new or too clever to be recognized by traditional “signature-based” antivirus software. ThreatFire is the perfect complement to traditional antivirus programs.

The first two answerers covered the Threatfire question well.
As for uninstalling Norton, go here and follow the instructions for using the Norton Removal Tool for your specific version of Norton.
