It's the Avengers. The Hulk, Ironman, Thor and Captain America and many others. Did you watch after the credits in Ironman when Nick Fury approached Ironman about the Avengers? It's gonna be a super saga of super hero's!!

That scene was designed to pique your interest, and it appears to have worked. Basically, the scene was a reference to a similar scene that appeared after the credits in "Iron Man," where Samuel Jackson, playing Nick Fury, the head of the S.H.I.E.L.D. government agency asks Stark if he has ever heard of the "Avengers Initiative." The "we," so far, is Fury and Tony Stark, but will eventually include Iron Man (Stark), Bruce Banner/the Hulk, Thor, Captain America, the Ant-Man and his partner, the Wasp, known collectively as the Avengers. Nick Fury will likely be the group's government liaison. The Avengers movie will be released in 2011, and essentially the scene you asked about is a rather long-term promotion for the Avengers film.
