To change IE mail virus check from norton to avg?

I have installed AVG anti virus but when i try to download email attachments, it is always checked by norton but not by avg.
can you provide any solutions for this?

Your Virus check will be done on the site in which the download content is there. For e.g. if u r trying to downlaod from Yahoo, they scan it using Norton as a safety measure to prevent the spread of viruses. You cannot skip this. If you want to check it with AVG, you can scan it after downloading it!
