Too much anti-virus? Threatfire, PC Tools Spyware Doctor and McAfee…?

November 23rd, 2008 · 1 Comment

I have McAfee, Threatfire and PC Tools Spyware Doctor installed. I’m concerned that this is affecting the operation of my computer. I’d like to uninstall PC Tools Spyware Doctor - will this leave me vulnerable or is it already superfluous? M

It’s better to have only one antivirus system so as to prevent interference. I also had ThreatFire and another antivirus system and whenever I scanned using ThreatFire the other antivirus would interfere with it. So, it’s better to have only one antivirus system.
