also I had a pap smear 5 days ago and starting spotting 1 day after and have ben for 3 days know and my period is suppose to start in 2 days, I have been fatigue, nausea. I took a pregnany test 2 weeks ago and was neg. I think it was to early to take. Could I be pregnant and should I take a test if my period comes? Can a pap smear make your period come early?

A smear can cause a little bit of spotting, but it shouldn't be a full period. And yes, taking a pregnancy test two weeks before your period is due was too early. Wait until your period is due, and if you have a normal period then you don't need to worry about it. If you have a very light period, or only some spotting, then you need to do another pregnancy test. And didn't the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics warn you that you needed to use extra protection?

Taking antibiotics can make your period come sooner. Taking a pregnancy test too soon will give you a false negative because it takes awhile for the levels of hormones to be high enough for them to detect. I've never been pregnant but my friend said when she got pregnant with her son she had a light spotty period when she first got pregnant. As far as I know pap smears won't make your period come early, the change in effectiveness of the birth control hormones probably did. Pregnancy tests are pretty cheap and worth the 10$ not to have to fret over whether or not you are pregnant.
