i have toshiba satellite model no a205-s5803, I just did a format on the drive and am trying to install windows xp on it but it says that
"setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer, make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer"
its a laptop and doesnt have floppy i searced online for tha problem but they require a floppy drive to install the ati driver for the hard drive, plz help me with the situation….?

It sounds like the format didn't install the MBR - Master Boot Record on the disk.
Try reformatting again, making sure you choose the option for making the disk bootable.
