I just renewed my subcription to trend micro antivirus on windows vista and i'm not sure if I downloaded it correctly. the problem is that the icon on my toolbar on the desktop says that "trend micro antivirus has expired", but I just bought it. I also tried clicking on the icon on the desktop screen but all I get is a screen asking me to renew my subscription or if I just renewed it, it asks for the serial number (which I did get in the e-mail). So I typed it in and then it goes to another screen which just displays all my personal information and nothing else. Please tell me how to get this to work. I'm lost. Thanks.

Personally, I use either Avast! or AVG. I know this doesn't help you solve your problem, but I get great service with these programs, and I don't pay for them (which is great, because I'm a college kid, haha).

Plus, it appears PC World gave it a poor rating to begin with, so if you feel you need to pay for your antivirus, you might want to pick another one anyway. Here's the article:

In response to your actual problem, however, I would call the Trend people up and explain your situation. They might be able to give you your money back if you give them your serial number and whatnot. Or, they could fix the problem and restart your service, and you can go on your merry way.
