Trend Micro Antivirus Scanning Trouble.. Help?

So I have Trend Micro Antivirus and whenever I want to do a scan - usually I just click "Scan Now" - however, when I do this.. it says there was a problem and that I need to restart the computer. I have restarted about 6 times now and eachtime is says there is still a problem. I actually have located the problem.. it is a Trojan Horse. Whenever I hilight the Trojan and click "Fix Now" it says the problem is gone, however it still will not let me scan.

I am very confused, please help
