Okay i had was some problems with my Trend Micro Internet Security (i use for anti-virus) so i called technical support. I was then told after some troubleshooting to open control panel> programs and features. I was then told to READ out ALL of my programs. When i said Spy Sweeper (which i use for spy ware, She told me to uninstall it since it causes problems with the Trend Micro. Is this really true!?!?! I think it's because they are rivals, or something like that.
Also what would you consider i do. Should i just throw my money out the window for buying Spy Sweeper a few months ago. Or should i just use Windows Defender (vista).
Also what would you consider besides Trend Micro for my anti virus software. Since i am thinking of getting rid of it when it expires.
BTW answer my first question first besides the others.

You are probably right, it is most likely because they are rivals. Try uninstalling Spy Sweeper, than install Trend Micro, and then reinstall Spy Sweeper. This trick works on other security suites that encounter the same problem. Just make sure you don't have both of them scanning at the same time.
The other 2 questions are completely up to you; It is your money, and your computer.

A lot of crud programs seem to be jealous of each other, and advise you to get rid of the opposition. Personally I won't use either of these, I am on Eset Secirity, pay once and have lifetime free updates, http://www.eset.com/ and when they say 30 days free trial, it is a Full trial, not like most others, buy me and I will remove all the baddies, most of which were invented by them.
