Hello! I have a question and I hope someone can answer this as I’m a bit confused….
I have Trend Micro Internet Security on my computer which is to protect me from virus’s, spyware, firewall, etc
But I also have Windows Security Center (of course) which also protects me with Firewall, Windows Defender, Malware protection, etc..
Now according to Trend Micro after doing a full scan it found 2 virus’s.
According the Windows Security Center my computer has no virus’s or problems - it’s up to date and running just fine.
?????????
So which is it? Why is one telling me I have a virus and the other is saying I do not?
I have Windows Vista by the way.
Help! Thank you!

Hey dear , Windows Security Center neither detects virus nor removes it , It is an application that tells u about automatic updates , virus protection and firewall .
As in ur case ,
Security Center will alert u when ur antivirus software (Trend Micro) is out of date or u have no antivirus. It will not remove viruses .
It also alerts u when automatic updates are off , because then u can not get latest security updates and hi=ot fixex from microsoft updates site .
It also alerts u when windows firewall is disabled , or any other firewall is not on .
So on the whole , it summarizes ur pc protection , by informing u about ur virus protection , firewall and updates Thats all.
Hope u would have got what i intended to explain
Good Luck
