hello everyone! i just renewed my trend micro anti-virus 2008 program and it did an automatic upgrade to 2009 version. the only problem is that i am unable to update! i keep getting this error message: "unable to update your protection. Make sure your internet connection works and check your proxy settings and try again." i don't have any problem with my internet connection it works fine but i can't figure out how to fix this. could anyone please offer any insight? if you need anymore information i'd be happy to edit! thanks again everyone!
P.S if anyone knows the support phone number to trend micro concerning this problem that would also be appreciated!

click on help and support on the left hand side of the splash screen,trend is really good about helping to resolve problems
