i know i have a virus, because my comp shut down and when i restarted, it said it had revovered from a serious error. then when i scan, it scan fine to start, then jumps from 15% to 32% then to 100% and i am assuming that is where the viruses are. and it says it has found cookies etc. while scanning fine, but doesn't show anything in the result screen!
please help! i need this
turnip you are getting best answer when i can, found 30 infected files already in 5 mins, about 20 of them are in sys 32 :O

I suggest you run a scan with malwarebytes .
you can get malwarebytes here,
this is a direct download link
so you should have no trouble getting it.
click on this link ↓ and then select run.

INSTALL IT TO YOUR DESKTOP, update it,
then run a full scan and remove everything it finds.
some viruses will try to disable it
so if malwarebytes will not start up
then go into the folder it is in and rename the mbam file to XXX
then double click on the file you just renamed to start it up.
after you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan.
to make sure you have nothing else hiding away.

preferably in safe mode with networking.
the reason for installing it to your desktop is so you have easy access to it should it be prevented from starting.
and some known viruses that will try to disable it Can't
find it on your desktop.
