I have Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 since November 2008. I got a one year subscription that ends September 13. Since i got Trend Micro 2008, The 2009 version came out. Does that mean that i should buy the 2009 instead of just renewing my subscription? Or should i renew my subscription. Does it make any difference if i have the 2008 compared to the 2009 in security?

Don’t worry it doesnt matter you will still be protected against the new viruses and malware that is out there because trend micro will still be updating and will give you the latest protection. But when your subscription expires then there will be a problem because Trend Micro will no longer be updating and you wont be protected against the latest malware out there. Hope this helps.

Go to their web site and e-mail them and ask if you renewed your subscription if you would get the 2009 version if not yeah i would suggest you get the best up to date software for virus protection that is not something you should skimp on. Unless you want to take your chances with something that has less protection.

Your wasting your money for the same protection as Trend or even better download this combo Comodo firewall and Avira antivirus comodo will have a LOT OF POP UPS for a while but nothing will get thorough its indestructable who the hell said AVG it sucks she answers that on every question it has no rootkit dectection either also If you HATE pop ups download Microsoft Security Essentials off softpedia no where else personally I like comodo but they are both solid but either way download Avira http://www.comodo.com http://www.avira.com http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Microsoft-Security-Essentials.shtml 10 points please?
