well it has fixed 158 problems that were on my computer (which is a Windows Vista) however AVG didnt fix any and i scan my computer at least twice a day

i didnt ask for an antivirus i just asked why people think trend micro is so "evil" lol also ever since i started using trendmicro my computers been working faster than ever im actually shocked by my computers performance at this point actually

Trend Micro, McAfee, Norton, the big antivirus names… they all tend to hog resources and slow machines to a crawl. I’d suggest getting AVG, nod32, or Kaspersky as an AV solution. Google any of those names to find out more. AVG has a free version, but lately they’ve been starting toward the Norton route (hogging resources, etc.).

With many things in computers, some people are very adamant about the vendors they like/dislike and such. Mac vs Windows (vs Linux), Dell vs. HP, Intel vs. AMD, nVidia vs. ATI… etc. The antivirus game is not much different. Some people swear by AVG, others by Trend Micro, some by McAfee, some by Symantec/Norton, others are certain no one can match Avast.
Whatever you pick, make sure you can use and configure it to your liking (whether you prefer to not configure it at all or whether you like to manipulate every little detail). And whatever you pick, please don’t be like those other people and force your software vendor preferences upon others
Another tip: If you do try out other antivirus software, make sure you uninstall the other software first! Having multiple antivirus programs on your computer will seriously slow it down, sometimes to the point of being unusable.

One thing i have learned throughout the years is if it works good then dont change it — trend micro is one of the best — but if you decide later after the time has expired for that antivirus to try another -i suggest avg or mabey avast they are free and they rate very high –just a note if you ever have major problems with worms or trojans try kaspersky it is one of the best i have tried and i have tried most antiviruses out there

I recommend ESET NOD32 Antivirus http://www.nod32.com.sg/html/44/42/ NOD32 easy to use, run faster than others, requires less system resources, can detect unknow virus. NOD32 is the No.1 antivirus system in the market, very popular in US, Europ, China, HongKang and Taiwan.
Don’t install Trend Micro, Norton and AVG. these antivirus will slow down your computer and AVG free but siutable for computer expert.
