Today my antivirus is popping up windows saying it detected a threat in various temp files. Trojan horse Generic10.ALZQ.
AVG antivirus is asking if i want to heal or move to vault. Stupid antivirus doesnt say what does what though so i tried both as it continually is popping these threat detected windows up right now. But either response on my part it still keeping bringing up threat detected for that trojan horse.
What to do?
And what is Trojan horse Generic10.ALZQ

There are so many of these Trojans out there that to tell you specifically what that specific one does is almost impossible.
AVG is not the greatest. I recommend using these Programs, especially the first three to fix your problem. They are free!
These first two DOS-based applications, but that is one of the reasons they work so well on your kind of problem! Don't be afraid using DOS applications, just follow the instructions and everything will be fine. In the Kaizer Killer, all you have to do is to double-click the application and it automatically removes most viruses in a heartbeat. Just use them in Safe Mode (to start in Safe Mode, press F8 a couple of times before the boot logo appears, you will be prompted to select one of the Startup options, and choose Safe Mode.)

If the first two don't work you can run these. They are also good for running a periodic scan just to make sure you are safe.

Running it requires a lot of RAM and uses a big deal of resources on CPU. I suggest only running it when you need it an not all the time.

I'd do a system restore back to before you got the trojan. It's clear AVG can't handle this trojan, so do a system restore.
