I have a laptop that AVG picked up a virus names trojan horse sheur.cdto. But I cannot seem to find this particular virus anywhere on the web. Has any one any ideas on where I can find this?
Thanks to whoever replies.

Hi there, this is a Trojan and is one many variants of the Sheur infection going around.
Switch off System Restore, you can switch it back on when you are clean.
Install, update and do a full scan using http://superantispyware.com
I'd run this weekly anyway.
You'll be asked to reboot when you switch off SR and again after you fix anything that SAS finds.
I've listed some more recommendations below that will help keep your computer safe. You have AVG but I recommend Avast, stay with AVG if you're happy with it.
I always recommend the following be stored on computers and install them myself on any I repair.
Avast Home Edition http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
Run a full scan once a month. I find this the best free anti-virus software
SUPERantispyware Free Edition http://superantispyware.com
Update and run a full scan once a week.
Spybot Search and Destroy http://safer-networking.org
Update, Immunize and scan once a week.
ccleaner http://ccleaner.com
Run the Cleaner scan and remove all it finds
Run the Registry scan and fix all issues but repeat this until nothing is detected.
Run this daily.
Comodo Firewall http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/
Some people just prefer the Windows one but this is better.
Check that you don't need to defragment monthly and also run a Disk Cleanup monthly too.
Feel free to email me if I can be of further help

When AVG picks up a Trojan or a Virus or Spyware, you must not look for it on the web as it could infect your computer again. Run a full scan on AVg and when it has completed, remove the trojan that is found by following AVG’s instructions

No info on Google or AVG’s site. Try uploading the suspect file here for another opinion: http://virusscan.jotti.org/
The file will be scanned by over 20 different scanners.
Also, ask AVG what it is.
