Trojan virus trying to delete a dll file?

June 20th, 2009 · 6 Comments

I ran McAfee and had 38 trojans which were dns changers… McAfee would delete them and then they would come back on restart. I was able to locate them in system registry and delete 36 and they are gone.. but the last two are dll files and when I try to delete it says no value set and when I try to set value and delete I get error message cannot delete due to no value,,, I tried to un register the dll but I then get a error message stating the file was found but the dll registry point server cannot be found.. please help…. thx
I also tried the malawarebytes software its not detecting the 2 trojans left..

U r infected with some kind of Trojan Gen which automatically generates trojan as soon as u remove the trojans detected by ur antivirus.

Macfee doesnt have a good detection rate, u must install a good antivirus like Kaspersky or Bitdefender.

Also get a good Antispyware like SuperAntispyware.

And even those antivirus and antispyware wont be able to remove the trojan gen until u remove them properly.

      First install
      H I J A C K T H I S
this and remove unwanted programs that r running on ur PC and then

when u install those Antivirus and Antispyware programs get them updated and run the scanning in Safe Mode. Which will wipe out possibility of regeneration of trojans.
