Trouble starting up my registry cleaner!!?

I recently had a virus hiding in my registry, and i removed it. Since then i tried to start my registry cleaner and it will not start up. When i bring up my task manager, under processes, it says it is taking up some of my CPU time, but nothing is coming up. So should I reinstall my cleaner or is there an easier fix. I’m running Vista 32bit OS, Migo Software Registry Repair 5. Thank anyone for there help!!
