It seems like I have inherited a Trojan horse virus, along with some Malware and spyware. How do I get them off??? I downloaded Spybot and AVG, and they notice them, but won’t delete them. I also have McAfee and SUPERantispyware, but they didnt seem to catch them. If you could write a step-by-step plan for me to get rid of them, I would be much appreciated. Here is the list of my viruses:
Trojan horse FakeAlert.AO
Trojan horse FakeAlert.BD
Trojan horse Generic_c.VXV
Trojan horse FakeAlert.AO
Trojan horse FakeAlert.BD
Trojan horse FakeAlert.BD
VistaAntivirus2008
PCPrivacyCleaner
SpyHunter
VirusRanger
Zolb.P0rn.ad (this one is so annoying)
If you can, link the website wherever you want me to go. Please, I need this fixed by tommorow
also, I got Fraud.PCHealth
that is another virus.

Hello, Glad To Answer Your Question And I Hope It Helps.
The best and sometimes only way to get rid of infections are to Reformat your Hard Drive by reinstalling your Operating System. ★ this will delete all files, so back up your things ahead of time.
You can usually use an online scanner to get rid of your problems and I prefer to use Windows Live OneCare FREE Safety Scan. http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm
Of course you should use a strong antivirus to prevent these problems. You can get Windows Live Onecare FREE for 3 Months!!

Don’t be fooled. XP is actually more virus prone that Vista is. But you have a LOT of viruses on your computer. It might not be a bad idea to reinstall Windows on your computer.

Im surprised spybot couldnt help you, and neither mcafee
heres a link to your first problem:
http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp?id=description&virus_k=146247,
you could try following these steps, as for ideas to remove it i have 4 in mind
1. Try and do a system restore to a date you knew you did not have the spyware
2. DL “hijackthis” but you WILL NEED TO BE CAREFUL as if you delete the wrong file you will need to repair windows
3. This program worked very well for the winantivirus 06-07 popup scam, however there is a small risk if you do run it, as its a hardcore spyware sweeper… Its called Smitrem, and also run Vundo aswell. (links below), i recommend reading into these sites as i have run out of time to check that this will work… late for work, ill come back later to this and help you if you need anymore
4. Reinstall windows, but i would tuck that idea away for now as 99% of viruses and spyware can usually be removed without needing a reinstall (however time is always a problem to solve them
