i need to install this and i am trying to but i am running into a problem.
i have windows xp service pack 1 and i need service pack 2 or higher.. when i try and download the latest service pack i can't do it because i don't have internet explorer 7… i then tried to download internet explorer 7 but i can't do that because i don't have service pack to or higher….
so what i am supposed to do to download all of these programs…?

You can download the SP2 yourself instead of having updates do it. i had the same trouble awhile ago, don't know why, just did

1) To download XP service pack 2, suggest that you manually update your version of OS using the automatic update features that comes with your windows, remember to have an active internet connection to begin with. You can look for the Update Icon in your control panel menu.
2) Try using FIREFOX web browser for your case, once you have it installed, used it to gain access to IE application software and download it. For normal web surfing, FIREFOX will suffice.
