Hi, I uninstalled the messenger a few weeks ago. My computer, a Compaq Presario CQ60, Windows Vista, did a restore and for some reason the messenger is back. I have removed one other Yahoo item, an installer I think it was, but whenever I go to remove the Messenger my computer says it cannot remove the file. Is there another way to remove the Yahoo Messenger from my computer?

did you try going to controll panel then click uninstall a program and it should install yahoo messenger and all of its compnets
