Turn ON Norton Virus protection???

I just reinstalled my Norton Antvirus 2008 onto my computer and it still keeps telling me my computer might be a rsik and that virus protection is turn 'off' How do i turn it on? I already have Norton installed onto my computer and it should've automatically turned virus protection on, im getting annoyed of all the 'computer at risk' messages

      Well, your problem is that you have Norton.

      I would call customer support and ask for a refund saying that you have heard from very good sources that it sucks, because frankly it does. Norton basically takes up HD space rather than actually protect your computer.

      I suggest AVG or Avast!, they work so much better and take so much less space.
