Unable to delete quarantined files on Trend Micro?

April 15th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Whenever I try to delete quarantine files that Trend Micro has quarantined I get the error message: "Unable to remove. Your computer may have locked the file, or you may lack sufficient privileges to access the file." How do I get rid of these files?

I haven't been able to locate them even when I look them up based on the file path Trend Micro gives me for each one..
There's eleven of these virus-infected files, two of them including:

Jusched.exe in A\JRE6\BIN
DESKTOP.INI
and 9 other "Shell Folders"

You can try to Remove the program and when asked to removed the Quarantined Files, you answer YES.

When all is done, restart the computer and re-install the program.

For a more accurate solution, you should write to Trend Micro themselves.

      Hope this helps.
