Unable to install XP. ntdll.dll hard error. troubleshooted the Harddisk. Harddisk is fine?

June 22nd, 2009 · 2 Comments

I need to reinstall windows xp because I am getting "send error" report to microsoft whenever I access explorer and other software. I tried several things:

1. Turned on DEP for explorer
2. Run dell diagnostic. The test passed
3. Ran hard driver diagnostic. The test passed.

Decided to reinstall windows xp. But during the course of installation, while loading dll and others. I get blue screen and the hard error. ntdll.dll. Please suggest me how to reinstall?

The most likely cause is a bloated registry which has become the home for all kinds of useless bits and pieces of data. Whenever any change is made to the system settings or a program is installed or uninstalled, a new entry is generated in the registry. The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. There is a multitude of useless bits and pieces to be removed.Parts of uninstalled programs, parts of incompletely installed programs, dead drivers and many other things. clean your registry and remove all the useless data fragments and no longer needed information to fix the errors!I should like to commend Registry Easy (http://www.cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com to you ! Of course you can also try others!
