I’m trying to uninstall Microsoft Office Professional Trial from my computer. It’s the largest thing on my hard drive, but not only does it not work, my trial ran out and I don’t have $500 to buy the code for it. But when I try to uninstall it by going to add or remove programs, I get the following error:
Setup can not continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run setup from the original source disk or download location.
I tried to reinstall it, and I continue to get this error. How can I get rid of program for good? Thanks!
Oops, forgot to add that it's the 2007 version.

Use the window installer clean up utility.

Probably missing the uninstaller. Go to the programs folder in drive C and locate it. Expand and delete it a piece at a time. After a while, you can drag it to the recycle bin. Then clean up the registry with any cleaner, and you are done, Maybe. As a matter of interest, the uninstaller cleanup utility will not remove office 2003. Good luck.
