So i dunno what program i got this from, but a toolbar came with it called "my fast web search" or something along those lines
I uninstalled it through the control panel and also did a registry clean.
Everytime i restart my laptop, my homepage gets changed back to "my fast web search", no matter how many times i change my default as google.
Anyone got any help? thanks in advance

Ive had this little pest before, and the only way to get rid of it is format your hard drive or use another browser. In the future be very careful of what check boxes you mark, lots of software will try to sneak a toolbar into your browser. Every time you use that toolbar they make money, they don’t care if the tool bar is worthless.
My fast websearch is considered a virus or in the least spyware by many anti-virus programs. If you have already cleaned your registry and deleted everything you could find, its always gona be there until you format.

What browser you got? If it’s Firefox, I just found this tutorial:
For Firefox, go under "Tools", and then "Add Ons". Click "Uninstall".
It’s thankfully gone, after too much time trying to figure out how to make it go away.
After that, use a registry cleaner such as "RegCure" to make sure all its registry keys are deleted as well. You can get it from http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html

If its Internet Explorer you use, you can do it this way:
After deleting all associated program files etc that you can possibly find go to all programs, find the folder that is called startup, delete the startup file in there, re-set your homepage and re-start.
I had this for ages and was tearing my hair out with what to do. In the end I found a suggestions form for my fast websearch and used it to complain and they are the instructions they gave me to get rid of it. I couldn’t believe it but it actually did work and I am now rid of the damned thing.
In case that doesn’t work for you, this is theie e-mail address: contact@myfastwebsearch.com. To be fair to them when I e-mailed they got back to me within minutes.
Hope this helps.
