Hey well um I just got a new TOSHIBA laptop, one of those government ones. It has a programme called ‘Netintelligence’ which blocks loads of stuff, when I try to uninstall it from Add or Remove it just says I need to enter a password, and it says for me to get help from some centre place but when you click the link nothing happens. So is there any other way of getting rid of this thing? Thankss

im having the same problem, but when i click on the control link its like the government have made a profile with netintellifgence and we have to log into it to get the password. it’s annoying i cant do what i want and some of the stuff i need to get for coursework is also blocked what a great program they have added :/ (sarcasm) we need someone who works for them that is kind enough to do it i doubt it though haha. im just looking over the internet but i cant seem to find anything. i just wish life was easier with the internet and we did not have to have these lock things. many thanks for trying though

Im having the same problem .Looking over the net it was telling me to contact my home access provided for the password. rang them and still no joy waiting on a technition to ring me back.Its crazy there telling me it can be uninstalled but nobody seems to no how. And its cost a small fortune in phone calls ha . someone please help.

If you have activated Netintelligence (the activation code comes from the provider of your laptop, if you have lost it you need to contact them, as they control the activation codes for the scheme), you can then set it up as you require.

go to support , and u will find your uninstall password there

Comet, the Home Access supplier refuses to give out passwords. I have it in writing from them that will won’t provide the password and that they will never give access to sites even on the parent account. I’m not talking about porn, here, I’m talking about sites like twitter.com/number10gov.
