I've been trying four hours to uninstall Norton Internet Security - but when I try to uninstall it - a little bubble pops up that says 'Unable to Start Setup. Please contact technical support for assistance.' And I can't open Norton either - so the uninstaller I can download from Symatec's website - wont' work because I can't get into Norton.
Help?

give this uninstaller a try
http://www.revouninstaller.com
the program has probably lost its own uninstaller and so will fail even with revo but simply cancel the uninstalling of the program and then let revo find the files and delete them
if you need more help on this email me

I have to do this within the next few days… Click on your start menu… then click all programs… and then find your Norton folder and click on it… find uninstall Norton and it should uninstall

Here's a link to the Norton removal tool, maybe you can get it from that.

If Norton won't open and you can't go to the Norton web site are you sure you not infected and something is blocking it from working. If you think you might be infected. Try starting you computer in safe mode and running a scan.
