uninstall remote desktop?

hi, i just formatted my pc form vista to xp and now i cant connect to the internet. I try to install remote desktop from my xp cd but it keeps saying that i already have one that came with my pc, but that one doesnt exist anymore. Is there anyway i can uninstall the remote desktop then reinstall the new one on the xp professional cd?

Remote Desktop is a built in feature of XP, and I don’t think you can uninstall it but you can disable it by going to system properties>Remote.
