I recently took an old computer with XP and replaced its operating system with ubuntu(not dual booting) but I reallized I cannot install photoshop on ubuntu. So I have my vista disk ready and whenever I put it in with ubuntu it says not enough space. So I figured I should delete ubuntu and then put the cd in.What is a simple way of doing this? are there any terminal commands?

Um before you uninstall ubuntu, have you tried to use WINE to start photoshop. I have heard of that program being able to run in ubuntu when running it through WINE.
Also there is a program called GIMP, I believe which is a similar program to photoshop.
To get photoshop running in ubuntu, select your photoshop program here: (version 6 through 8 seem to work best)

Use the Ubuntu CD to reformat the (currently Ext3) drive as FAT32.
Then the Windows installer will be able to convert that to NTFS before installing Vista.
After that, if you want, you can install Ubuntu as a virtual OS inside Vista:
