I have a new laptop, with Vista on it. ( 2 weeks old). I want to uninstall windows live messenger. I exited out of it already.
When I go to ADD/REMOVE programs, I see three files: Windows Live Essentials, Windows Live sign-in assistant, Windows live Upload tool. I dont want to delete the wrong file. Which file is for Windows live messenger? Thanks

I'm not sure if Vista has the exact same setup, maybe.
In Add/Remove Programs, or somewhere around that, you'll find an option to "Add/Remove Windows Components". The option to remove Windows live messenger is in there, by unchecking the box next to it.
Hope this helps.

if you want to completely delete it, then i would delete every file. I hope this helps!
