i need to uninstall windows media player 11(updated version) but it does not show up on the programs list in the control panel and there is no ‘uninstall’ file in c:/programfiles/windowsmediaplayer.
i am using vista, sorry i forgot to put that.

hi dude…….if your using XP …got to control panel ..click on add /remove programs//…….again left side of the new window third option down add/remove windows components click on that ,,,one more new window will open ..juz scroll down find windows media player …un-tick it and press next button ..it will get uninstalled …but to install it again you wud require windows Xp cd….be care full n good luck

No, you can not uninstal windows media player 11 in windows vista,
as it is an integral part of operating system.
If there be any problem with windows media player,you can repair it by using original vista disc.,or re-instal windows media player 11.

I am using windows vista home premium , the media player not supporting all movie format, so I want remove media player and install upgrade version please help me….
