uninstall windows XP SP3?

i want to remove windows XP SP3 and go back to SP2 since some of the programs i use bring up errors.
so i looked for the installer for it, its not listed in add/remove programs, nor does the uninstall folder exist. is there some way to remove it with the uninstaller missing?
i know i can remove it since microsoft website says i can, and ive dont it before on an old computer
