Using Super, and Im such a noob at this. Is there some kind of Chart that says to convert from A to B use these settings or format.. How can I know what to use for which file I want to convert? Thank you!
How is that stupid? (i bet i know 100's of things that you have no clue about) Anyways, I converted to mpg and the quality was garbage and the AVI would not show the images , just sound. I do have all the Vista codec's Installed.

Changing to another "format" (I'm assuming you mean codec) isn't going to make your end product any better than the original quality you had. However, if you want to change codecs or file types for other reasons, VLC is by far the best tool youl'll want to use..not to mention it plays virtually everything with a very lightweight program…with it you can use the wizard that comes with it to "stream/save" your media and transcode it into another form. Or if you're more tech savvy you can look at the instructions on the forum and you'll have more customizable options. Here's the link if you're interested.
