My computer is up to date with the VERY latest security software that I can find. I have Microsoft OneCare Live security suite. I additionally have all the latest updates for my computer from the windows update web site. My anti virus software says it will protect my compter from all sorts of dangerous activity. So, how in the name of Zeus' A-HOLE did my computer get a virus??? This thing changes my desktop to blue screen and says you need to get anti virus software to protect your computer and then launches what I believe to be a screen saver with big black ants that eat the color from the background picture. I then try to change the background picture from display properties and the little tabs at the top of the window are gone. What??? I cant change the background picture or screen saver to anything else. I don't know what to do. Everything else on the computer seems to be running fine, even the internet, but I am afraid to use it, for security reasons. Please Help!!!

Let me be the first to tell you,that Windows Live One Care is a disgrace,and will protect your computer from nothing.If you get infected,it's not going to find anything.It's pitiful.Please get rid of it,and download something else.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
