Virus that McAfee can’t delete?

December 8th, 2008 · 4 Comments

I seem to have picked a virus recently. My McAfee (sp?) security has detected it. Normally it is pretty good about getting rid of viruses, but this one seems to be sticking and it causing some problem with my computer (slowness, excessive pop-up windows).

It can’t be cleaned, moved or delete. Here is the info from the scan:

Location: C:\WINDOWS\system32\iifdefcC.dll
Detected As: Vundo
State: Move failed (Clean failed)
Detection Type: Trojan

Help!!!
