hi i am running vista home premium 32 bit with 4 Gb of 1066 ram i used to have 4 Gb of 800 but my vista raying has not icreased form my ram and i havent noticed any performance increase i dont know how to even check if it is running at 1066 and before you say your mother board doesnt support it i have the ASUS P5K DELUXE which natively supports ddr2 1066
how can i find out what speed my ram is running at
i ran cpu z and i said my ram frequency was 400 mhz
also my vista rating for my ram (not that the window exerience ratting is anything to go by as anything goood just gets a 5.9 (the maximum score))

Any 32bit Vista will only support 3GB of ram anything more and you need a 64bit O/S

Rating increase from what. Are you referring to the Windows Experience Index.
I currently have 2GB 800MHz RAM and have a 5.9 score; the highest possible. And a difference wouldn't be earth shattering between 800MHz and 1066MHz.

i had the same problem i had to maually set it to 1066 in the bios an yeah it makes a lil differance but it's also sooo frustrating to know it's not working properly lol look in your motherboard manual an check it out
