Vista Installation Problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

August 26th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I got a blue screen running vista and then I could not reboot not even into safe mode or any other mode. I tried to reinstall windows after I formatted my hard drive but I got an error while installation:

“Windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0×8007003.”

What should I do?
I have already formatted the hard drive, and I am booting from the vista DVD.
I have used this same disk before, and installed vista on the same computer with no problems.

Have the computer boot from the CD and wipe your hard disk and start all over again, also check your Windows Cd for scratches and dust.

      keep trying.

You are booting from the Vista DVD?

It could be a scratch on the DVD that keeps it from reading a certain file.
You just have to keep trying it. There isn’t any magical way of fixing this.
