i have a kodak digital camera. i also have a compaq computer with vista operating system. everything worked great for about 3 months then all of the sudden my camera stopped uploading. when you plug up th camera to the pc via usb it says "cannot find device information". i have reinstalled the software for the camera and still no solution. i dont want to reinstall operating system since i have lots of important stuff. any ideas??? if you can help by msg me then my id is jonathan_198038@yahoo.com. thanks in advance

Connect the camera, go to Device Manager, Uninstall the camera.
Disconnect the camera, connect it again, see what happens.

Vista is fun, isn't it. Try going to the Kodak website and look for a Vista Update download. Remember that not everyone is up to "Vista Speed" (compliant).
It did the same thing with my Garmin GPS. I worked for a while and then locked up. I downloaded the upgrade and haven't had a problem. Good Luck.
