Vista Service Pack 1 and Norton Internet Security 2009?

When I updated my computer I had to install Service Pack 1 it took me almost 30 mins but when my computer restarted after finishing installion, my Norton Internet Security 2009 wasn’t “protecting or working” there was this thing that told me to click on One Click Support, I clicked on it and it said they didn’t know what the problem was. so I had to install Norton Internet Security 2009 again and now it works.

So I was wondering if Vista Service Pack 1 caused NIS 2009 to stop working or what?
