Vista w/ IE7. With two or more IE windows open & close one, error is "IE has stopped working"; all close.Help!

Error also says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." It never notifies me of anything. Often all windows will close. I usually have several windows open at once so it's very annoying to have to figure out where they all are again. Any help?

I believe theres an option to open IE in separate windows and then the only window you want to close will. Hope that makes sense.
