VMware Uninstall problems

I installed VMware on a laptop to run Linux for a class. The class is over and i uninstalled VMware but it is still showing VMware network adapters when I do ipconfig/all. Any ideas on how to get rid of this?
I forgot to mention that I tried to delete the connection in the control panel but they keep reappearing

Go to “Control Panel > Network Connections” and delete the vmware network connections.
