My computer has a blue background and it has a yellow/blue sign in the middle that reads:
"Warning spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer. "
I have AVG anti virus and firefox if that helps at all. but whenever i scan my computer for virus's w/ the AVG my computer restarts and the blue wallpaper is still there.
How do i fix this? please please help, anyone who is good with computer stuff!
oh and btw, i have three different accounts and they all have the same warning sign when i log in.

Most of them that you get like that is the spyware it's self. You can try using SpyBot or Ad Aware to see what they can pick up. They are both free.

that warning is the virus itself. last time that happened to me i wound up having to crash my computer and reload everything.

You need to have an anti spyware , recommended are : Ad Aware , Spybot Search & Destroy or Windows Defender

use glary utilities it is a scnner for such threats download it from http://www.download.com and install, update database and then run the scanner it is free so you have to do manual update
apart from that you can kill this process through task manager just identify and kill it
use avast antivirus it is also free and does real time scanning regarding i doubt if it does real time scanning otherwise virus would have not entered your system
I still feel do use AVAST Anti virus to kill virus and trojans and spyware

Don't you have Antispyware with the Yahoo toolbar. If you do I suggest you update it and run it immediately.
If you don't, you can download the free versions of Ad-Aware and Spybot. I would recommend you go into Safe Mode to run these ASAP!
